Mobile Museum of Art Art museum
Located in the heart of Mobile, Alabama, Mobile Museum of Art (MMoA) is dedicated to a simple mission: To Bring People Together and Inspire Creativity Through the Power of Art.
Founded in 1964 and supported by a unique public/private partnership, MMoA is South Alabama’s only accredited art museum. It serves as a vital creative hub housing an expansive collection of more than 6,400 works — ranging from classical antiquity to contemporary fine and decorative arts from America, Asia, and Europe.
Along with curated selections from its permanent collection and rotating special exhibitions featuring regional, national, and international talent, MMoA offers art classes for all ages, outreach programs, and dynamic community events.
